On June 3rd, we lost more than just a voice—we lost a part of our DiamondDawgs family.
For the past 14 years, Lou Parrotta was the unmistakable Voice of the Dawgs. From his booming introductions to his infectious energy and genuine love for the game, Lou helped create the unforgettable fan experience that made Veterans Memorial Park feel like home.
Lou didn’t just announce the game—he brought it to life. His smile, his spirit, and his deep commitment to the team made him a staple in the press box and in our hearts.
We will miss him dearly, but his voice will echo through the ballpark forever.
Please keep Lou, his sister, and his two nephews in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Rest easy, Lou. ![]()
