LITTLE FALLS, NY – The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs are thrilled to announce the return of right-handed pitcher Jack Montanye for the 2025 season. A local product from Canajoharie and current standout at SUNY Poly, Montayne is ready to build on his stellar performance from last season and bring his talents back to Veterans Memorial Park.
Montanye made a significant impact in 2024, appearing in 10 games for the DiamondDawgs and starting 8 of them. He finished the season with an impressive 4-0 record, adding 1 save to his resume. Over 38 innings on the mound, Montanye struck out 35 batters and posted a 3.55 ERA. He finished the 2024 season as team leader in both wins and strikeouts, solidifying his reputation as a key contributor to the team’s success.
