Little Falls NY — The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs have announced that Steve Luby will return as Head Coach for the 2026 season, continuing a leadership role that has been central to the organization’s long term success.
Luby has been with the DiamondDawgs organization since 2014. During his tenure, he has played a key role in helping the DiamondDawgs capture two league championships while contributing to the development of numerous players who have gone on to be selected in the Major League Baseball Draft.
“Steve has been part of this organization for a long time and understands what it takes to run a successful program,” said owner Travis Heiser. “He prepares our players the right way and creates an environment that allows them to develop and compete at a high level.”
Under Luby’s leadership, the DiamondDawgs have emphasized accountability, player development, and team culture while continuing to attract talented college players from across the country.
As the organization looks ahead to the 2026 season, Luby’s return provides continuity and stability both on and off the field.
