The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs have added catcher Brendan McLoughlin from Wagner College to the 2026 roster. A Latham New York native and graduate of Shaker High School, McLoughlin was named a 2025 New York State Class AAA Sportswriters Association All State selection.
Known for his ability to drive the baseball with authority, McLoughlin projects as a run-producing presence in the lineup. Defensively, he brings a strong understanding of calling a game and consistently keeps baserunners in check with pop times around 1.9. He brings experience and leadership behind the plate to the DiamondDawgs for the 2026 season.
