The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs have added left-handed pitcher Hayden Strout from the University of Southern Maine to the 2026 roster. A freshman from Foxcroft Academy in Maine, Strout was recognized as the 2025 Mr. Maine Baseball Player of the Year, which is given to the best player in Maine following a standout senior season.
He finished his senior year with a 7- 0 record and a 2.35 ERA, establishing himself as one of the top pitching prospects in the state. Strout brings left-handed pitching depth, athleticism, and competitive experience to the DiamondDawgs for the 2026 season.
