The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs have added left handed pitcher Jack Donlin from the University of Maine to the 2026 roster. A 6 foot 2, 220 pound sophomore from Cazenovia, New York Donlin brings athleticism, experience, and a strong competitive background to the DiamondDawgs pitching staff.
Before attending Maine, Donlin starred at Cazenovia High School where he was ranked as the 13th best left handed pitcher in New York and the 375th best left handed pitcher nationally. During his senior year, he was named the Central New York Male Athlete of the Year and finished his high school career as the school record holder in career strikeouts with 320, hits with 106, and home runs with 9. He was also named the Central New York Ice Hockey Player of the Year.
In 2025, Donlin made 11 appearances, including one start, for the Black Bears. He allowed runs in only four of those outings and recorded a season high four strikeouts against UMF on April 16. He also struck out three batters during a three inning appearance against Merrimack on April 2.
His athletic background, left handed presence, and ability to compete at a high level give the DiamondDawgs another experienced option on the mound for the 2026 season.
