The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs have added right-handed pitcher Riley Weatherwax from Monmouth University to the 2026 roster.
Before transferring to Monmouth, Weatherwax made nine appearances out of the bullpen at Penn State during the 2025 season. He recorded at least two strikeouts in four outings and did not allow a run in six of his nine appearances.
Weatherwax enjoyed a decorated high school career at Roy C Ketcham, leading the program to a state championship, two regional championships, and three sectional championships. He was a two-time Dutchess County Pitcher of the Year and was ranked as the No. 54 overall prospect and No. 24 pitcher in New York by Perfect Game.
He adds a competitive presence and proven track record to the DiamondDawgs pitching staff for the 2026 season.
