The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs have added left handed pitcher Jacob Diaz from Monmouth University to the 2026 roster. A Sparta New Jersey native, Diaz features a fastball in the upper 80s along with above average secondary pitches that allow him to effectively change speeds and compete against opposing hitters.
Diaz recently threw a no hitter and reached 100 career strikeouts, marking two significant milestones in his pitching career.
He adds another competitive arm to the DiamondDawgs pitching staff for the 2026 season.
