The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs have added right handed pitcher Ali Hood from Lafayette College to the 2026 roster. A 6 foot 2, 175 pound sophomore from Cos Cob, Connecticut, Hood brings a strong pitching profile and competitive presence to the mound.
Coming out of high school, Hood was ranked as the 13th best right handed pitcher in the state of Connecticut. He works with a fastball in the upper 80s to low 90s and competes with a pitch mix that allows him to attack hitters in the strike zone.
He adds another quality arm to the DiamondDawgs pitching staff for the 2026 season.
