The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs have added right handed pitcher Matt Alegria from Felician University to the 2026 roster. A Teaneck New Jersey native, Alegria is a freshman who brings a power arm and developing pitch mix to the DiamondDawgs pitching staff.
Alegria features a fastball that reaches 92 miles per hour and has posted a 0.00 ERA in his early collegiate appearances, demonstrating his ability to command the strike zone and handle high leverage situations.
His combination of velocity, early collegiate success, and overall presence on the mound strengthens the DiamondDawgs pitching staff for the 2026 season
