The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs have added right handed pitcher Matthew Kurek from Fairfield University to the 2026 roster. A 6 foot 4, 210 pound freshman from Summit New Jersey, Kurek brings a strong pitching pedigree and competitive background to the DiamondDawgs staff.
Kurek was ranked as the 57th best right handed pitcher in the state of New Jersey coming out of high school, earning recognition for his ability to compete in the strike zone and attack hitters effectively.
He adds another quality arm to the DiamondDawgs pitching staff for the 2026 season.
