LITTLE FALLS, NY — The Mohawk Valley Diamond Dawgs are excited to announce the signing of Ian Oehlschlaeger, a OF/1B from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for the upcoming 2025 season.
Through 11 games, Ian has been a dominant force at the plate, hitting .462 with 3 doubles, 2 triples, and 4 home runs, while driving in 18 RBIs. His .949 slugging percentage and .596 on-base percentage highlight his ability to get on base and produce runs. He has also been a constant threat on the basepaths, going a perfect 9-for-9 in stolen bases.
Not only has Ian been excelling offensively, but he has also been a rock defensively, maintaining a 1.000 fielding percentage. His all-around skill set and consistent play make him a valuable addition to the DiamondDawgs as they gear up for another exciting season.
