Little Falls, NY — The Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs today announced a new community-focused initiative for the 2026 season that will provide complimentary admission to all fans ages 17 and under for every home game.
The program, made possible through a partnership with the BRiDGES Tobacco Control Program and Reality Check, reflects the organization’s continued commitment to ensuring that high-quality, family-friendly baseball remains accessible and affordable for families across the Mohawk Valley. The goal of BRiDGES Tobacco Control Program and Reality Check is to decrease the social acceptability of tobacco use by reducing or eliminating tobacco use in outdoor areas.
Since their founding, the DiamondDawgs have prioritized delivering a first-class fan experience while proudly representing the region as its hometown team. This initiative further supports that mission by removing financial barriers and expanding opportunities for young fans to connect with the game.
“This initiative reflects who we are as an organization and what we value,” said owner Travis Heiser. “Our mission has always been to create an environment where families and fans from across the Mohawk Valley can come together to enjoy great baseball and build lasting memories. Through this partnership, we are proud to expand access to the game and ensure that every child has the opportunity to experience what makes DiamondDawgs baseball special.”
In addition to increasing accessibility, the partnership aligns with the shared goals of promoting healthy choices and positive engagement for youth throughout the region.
The DiamondDawgs will open the 2026 season at home on May 28.
